    Our Rescue and Re home.

Some one asked me a very good question, "Who Profits", The answer is the "Birds and new owners".If there's any profit it would be from any pet supply's.
Birds in need of rescue or re home (other pets to)are payed ,for by a wonderful lady, Carol Vine, out of her own pocket. She or one of her elves, house's and/ or helps take of them. Carol supply's everything, vet, food, room. There's 4 of us elves, we also help with money when we can. Maggie and I have a soft spot for the sick or hurt rescue fids, we take a lot of them home.
All the rescues are rehab ed and put up for sale at what they cost or less. Example: Joey the 2 year old CAG, Carol payed the man who no longer wanted him,$400.00 for Joey, $350.00 for the lg cage, The rest for check-up etc, nothing for food, housing, etc. There's no profit. Molly the green wing MaCaw has been in our care since Dec 08.
Maggie and I donate hand fed cockatiel babies to help cut the housing costs. Carol also doe's this for dogs and cats, then moves them to "for the luv of paws" Last month we raised $5000.00 in donations. All this is done out of her small Bird store. All money from any sale is just fed back into the rescue.
All this is done out of love, no profit.
    Thanks

A Grey is a wild animal removed from the wild, bred to be companions. They are long removed from being able to take care of themselves but not so long as to forget at times they're still wild...so it's up to us to make sure we protect them. We're the reason they demand all this attention. We removed them from the wild. Jay
