Spix's Macaw or Little Blue Macaw (Cyanopsitta Spixii) is a rare and possibly extinct in the wild. The last one seen in the wild was a male in 2000 and it has not been seen since. There are about 60 in captivity.
Spix's Macaw weighs approximately 360 grams and it is approximately 55 to 57cm. Its native habitat is a small area in Northeastern Brazil.

A Grey is a wild animal removed from the wild, bred to be companions. They are long removed from being able to take care of themselves but not so long as to forget at times they're still wild...so it's up to us to make sure we protect them. We're the reason they demand all this attention. We removed them from the wild. Jay

Beautiful bird it would be devastating to see such a beautiful creature to become exstict lets hope that the breeding programs can get those numbers up.
