1st egg of Pakshi has hatched

I wanted to surprise everyone with pics of the chicks but I cannot wait !! Pakshi (female) & Khushi, my tiels had 5 eggs and the first one has hatched. You can see the shell in this photo. I can hear the peeps but cannot see the chick.

I am too scared to disturb her, so I will have to wait. Needless to say the first photos will be posted here.

Oh I would have loved to have seen the little peep but you did the right thing to not disturb her, you will get a picture soon enough but I can't wait to see them.

What lovely news! I've never, ever seen a cockatiel chick (Spiky was one when he came to me) so I can't wait to see your pictures. Pakshi looks one proud mother!
