A Grey is a wild animal removed from the wild, bred to be companions. They are long removed from being able to take care of themselves but not so long as to forget at times they're still wild...so it's up to us to make sure we protect them. We're the reason they demand all this attention. We removed them from the wild. Jay
Calypso is a very pretty Amazon, lovely pictures.

Calypso is a little girl, will be 2 years old on April 15. We got her when she was weaned at the end of July 2008. There is a wonderful bird shop in Williamsburg, VA where we found her, and after we decided to get her, we would go at least 2 or 3 times a week to visit. When she was a little older, my son would spoon feed her on our visits.(she is his bird by rights) They are very bonded to each other, but she will go to all of our family, but he definitely is her favorite! She is a real clown and never ceases to amaze us with her antics - so full of energy and always getting into something. She started saying gooooood girl at about 4 months and has quite a large vocab now. A pure pleasure and rotten as can be! We love her anyway!
