i am aware that tephlon is no good for the bird. the fumes that arise from it are poison to the little guy. i am curious though......
if i cook his omlette on tephlon is this a big no no. does the tephlon reslease some kind of toxin into the food that could kill a bird?

I dont have teflon, heard too many horror stories. It can also be found in hairdryers and other appliances too.
The standard problem with teflon has to do with fumes in the air, not in food. Teflon doesn;t get into any food.

Thanks for posting this, and thanks for the response Dave, I have wondered this myself and chose to boil the eggs instead just to be safe. Looks like I'm making omelettes now...
