    aggressive towards my daughter

Hi, personally I gon't think greys and children are a good mix nor do I think they should be given to children as pets, they are adult's birds. One of the reasons for this is that greys are nervous/skittish birds by nature and young childern have quick, jerky movements. My advice would be to never mix the two as a grey could give your daughter a nasty bite. My son is 12 and although considerably older than your daughter I'd say my grey is nervous of him.

    aggressive towards my daughter

If your grey is aggressive towards your 6 year old, I would be very cautious and careful for your daughter's sake. Greys, well all birds, can have a vicious bite when nervous, afraid or just plain feel like it. Respect the fact that your grey isn't interested in being friendly with your small child. Give them both time to grow up and perhaps the attitude will change.
