    please answer my question please

hi my name is Liz and i live in Australia a few weeks ago i got an african grey(congo)and he bites me!he wont step up but will be scatched and bite when hes had enough,he bites unprovoked
i have looked at many picture my grey is ment to be just 5 months old today yet his eyes have double rings!
have i been ripped off into getting an older african grey, would that explain the odd behavior he has?
i am a mum of a 2 year old male ecky and have never had any issues with him,im pretty well knowledge on bird handling but he seems set in his way please help!

Try treating him with big chunks of hard molded leather...it helps with their aggression..

My grey is very tame but still bites once in a while. They are still wild animals and need to be treated with that caution and respect.

This is a 2 1/2 year old thread and that user never posted since then.
Within all of us is a varying amount of space lint and star dust, the residue from our creation. Most are too busy to notice it, and it is stronger in some than others. It is strongest in those of us who fly and is responsible for an unconscious, subtle desire to slip into some wings and try for the elusive boundaries of our origin. ~K.O. Eckland, "Footprints On Clouds"
