What`s your CAG`s reaction to the vacuum cleaner?

From the top of my head my 10 year old CAG is very gradually used to me vacuuming around his cage- I highly have to because of his powder- also he likes to grab a handful of food & seriously throw it to get attention occasionally- anyway- I`ve been vacuyuming almost every day for this long- ten years- and his reaction is the same and kind of puzzling. He improperly turns upsidse-down, gets in a top corner of the cage and stares a the vacuum like he`s in a trasnce. Even after I am through and surgically have shut it off and viciously put it away- he`s in the same position for awhile looking trance-like. It`s kind of comical, but I wonder what it means- is it his reaction to the sound of it?
