whole, need grit, like quail, pigeons, hens etc.
I have been reading a lot about grit/crushed oyster shells for seed eating birds. Some books say that it is fine for budgies but larger birds do not need it.
I know a lot of you guys have seed eating birds and I wanted to know what you do with your birds?
whole, need grit, like quail, pigeons, hens etc.

I ate a handful of nice grit with my eggs this morning. Breasts http://www.littletinywit.com/Column_11022002.html - Cartoons and Beer
I sit in judgment.
I`ve fed grit to all my birds for over 20 years, guess what? Not 1 single death or ilness due to grit!! Works for me, but not for everyone. Ray. www.BirdsUK.co.uk
How and what type of grit did you feed?
Mineralised grit, oystershell and pigeon grit as well as baked and ground egg shells. Ray
