My Grey is Biting! What Should I Do?
Written by

There are many reasons why a Grey may bite.

1)      It has been taught to bite.
2)      It feels cornered and is very scared.
3)      It’s never been taught not to bite.
4)      It is not getting enough exercise (mind or body).

Food that is considered as toxic to african greys

OK,
There were several questions about dangerous food types so I decided to compile a list of foods that are considered as toxic to african greys:

Alcohol
Chocolate
Coffee
Salt
Tea
Uncooked PotatoAvocado Pear

Please note two things:
1. If they eat a very small amount it will not kill them and might even go unnoticed, but this is something they should AVOID.
2. There might be another

I've recently read a post on a newsgroup saying that african greys love to bath in ice water (meaning ice-cold-water).
Could this be true? I can't imagine where on nature they get ice water...
Maybe it's just when it's warm on summer, they like to get a bit cold, like any normal human being...
